Self-host Google Chat.

Create your own Google Chat app and connect it securely to Just Arrived.

Updated 21 September 2026

Use this option when your organisation cannot install the standard Just Arrived Marketplace app. Your Google Workspace administrator creates a Chat app in your own Google Cloud project and connects it to Just Arrived.

Set it up

  1. Choose a self-hosted Chat app

If your organisation cannot install the Marketplace app, ask your Google Workspace administrator to create a Chat app in your own Google Cloud project. When it is ready, open Just Arrived → Connections → Google Chat → Advanced credentials.

  2. Create and configure the Google Cloud project

  3. Create a service account key

In the same Google Cloud project, create a service account and download a JSON key. Your Google Cloud administrator may need to allow service-account key creation for the project.
