General check-in removes the host-selection page entirely. The visitor enters their details, the screen clears itself for the next person, and your reception team gets notified. Previous visitors' names and details are never shown on the kiosk.

Turn on General check-in

  1. Open Offices, pick the office and find the Visitor flow card.
  2. Switch on General check-in. The kiosk now goes straight from the welcome screen to the details form — no host page.
  3. Arrivals without a host are sent to your reception notification channel instead of an individual host.
Mixed building? A single screen can differ from the office default. On the Devices tab, each kiosk has its own Visitor flow picker: Office default, General check-in or Host check-in.

Ask for exactly the details you need

In the designer, select the details form on the Details page. Each field — company, email, phone — can be off, optional or required, and you can add your own fields (up to six on layouts where space is tight). Fields marked sensitive are masked as “Provided” in notifications and logs.

Notify reception, not a host

Connect a channel under Integrations — email, Slack, Teams, Google Chat or a webhook — and point it at a shared reception address or channel. Every arrival lands there the moment the visitor finishes.

Privacy and GDPR

  1. The kiosk returns to the welcome screen automatically after each check-in — no patient ever sees the previous patient's details.
  2. The privacy page visitors accept lists only the fields you actually collect.
  3. Set how long visitor data is kept under the office's data retention setting.
